Executive Car Hire with a Professional Chauffeur
Executive car hire is a chauffeur-driven business saloon booked for work travel: airport runs, meetings, roadshows and collecting clients. You get a quiet car you can work in, a chauffeur who plans around your schedule, and a fixed price that can be billed to the company. We supply executive cars with a chauffeur only, never on a self-drive basis, and this page sets out how it works so that you or your assistant can book it with confidence.
What makes a car 'executive'
The term normally means a large, comfortable saloon from a premium brand, presented without fuss. What matters to a business traveller is space in the rear, a quiet cabin for phone calls, and a driver who is punctual and discreet. Our Mercedes S500 long wheelbase and Audi A6 are the cars we use for this work; the Mercedes V-Class is used when a team of up to seven passengers travels together.
Typical executive bookings
Most business journeys fall into one of these patterns.
- Airport runs to and from Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted and London City, with flight tracking for arrivals.
- Day hire for back-to-back meetings, where the car waits and moves you between appointments.
- Collecting visiting clients or candidates from a station or airport.
- Roadshows and site visits covering several locations in one day.
- Evening events and client dinners, with a return journey at an agreed time.
Working on the move
A chauffeured car turns travel time into usable time. You can take calls, read papers or rest before a meeting rather than concentrating on traffic. Our chauffeurs do not discuss passengers or their business, and conversations in the car stay private. If you need quiet, say so; if you want to be briefed on the route or timings, the chauffeur will do that too.
Pricing and billing
Every journey is quoted at a fixed price before it is confirmed, so there are no surprises on the invoice. Regular clients can travel on account, with one invoice covering several journeys and passengers. The price reflects the car, the distance, and for day hire the length of time the car is reserved. Our guide to what affects chauffeur costs explains the main factors in more detail.
Booking for a colleague
Executive travel is usually arranged by a PA, office manager or travel coordinator. Send the passenger's name and mobile number, the pickup address or flight number, the timings and the billing details. The booker receives the confirmation; the chauffeur contacts the passenger only if something changes on the day. We operate 24 hours, so early departures and late arrivals are routine.
Executive car hire compared with a taxi
A taxi or ride-hailing car is fine for a short hop. For an important client, a long airport run or a full day of meetings, the reliability of a pre-planned chauffeur, a guaranteed vehicle and a fixed price usually outweighs the difference in cost. Our comparison guide on executive travel versus taxis sets the two side by side.
Arranging a visiting client's day
When a client or senior colleague visits, the car is often their first impression of your business. A simple way to handle it is to put the whole visit under one booking: collection from the airport or station, transfers between your office and any sites, dinner, and the journey to the hotel. The same chauffeur stays throughout, learns the plan and adjusts when meetings overrun. Share a short itinerary with names, addresses and rough times, and tell us who should receive updates. If the visitor needs quiet time to prepare, the chauffeur will keep conversation to a minimum; if they want a local briefing on the way in, that can be arranged. At the end of the visit the booker receives one invoice rather than a pile of receipts, which makes the cost easy to allocate to the right project or client.
